Registration & Administration:
- • This institution is meant for Christians but is also open to all irrespective of religion, caste or community.
- • Pupils applying for admission are, as a rule, subjected to a test.
- • No pupil less than 6 years and not more than 7 years is admitted to Class I. For the next higher classes, one year for each class is to be added.
- • No pupil is admitted without a transfer certificate from the school attended last, and in no case shall a student be permitted to attend class pending formal admission.
- • A pupil joining the academy for the first time must produce satisfactory evidence of his/her date of birth, such as an extraction from the municipal, hospital, Village panchayat records, a baptismal certificate, or vaccination certificate.
- • The date of birth once entered shall not be changed.
- • When a pupil is admitted on a transfer certificate, he/she shall not be placed in a class higher than that for which the certificate shows him/her to be qualified nor will he/she be promoted before the end of the academic year.
- • In case of late admission, the fees from the beginning of the first term shall be charged.
- • The registration fee is not refundable and registration does not guarantee admission.
Attendance:
- • Every student is expected to be present at the morning assembly.
- • Late–comers and absentees shall not be admitted to their respective classes without the principal’s signature on the leave note duly signed by parents/guardian.
- • Half-day leave shall not be granted without an application signed by the parents. Students once in, are not allowed to go out during class hours, not even during recess.
- • Parents/Guardians are requested to cooperate by sending their wards on the specified date unless written permission or leave extension is granted in advance.
- • No leave of absence is granted without a written application signed by the parents and only for genuine reasons. Leave has to be sanctioned.
- • In case of illness, a medical certificate must be submitted within three days. Authorities may insist on an examination by a civil surgeon.
- • After summer vacation and Christmas holidays, students must attend on reopening day. Absence of 3 days without permission may result in name being struck off. Re-admission requires a fee.
- • If absent for 15 days without written permission, the student’s name shall be struck off.
- • 75% attendance is required for promotion.
Discipline:
- • Strict regularity, courtesy, and cleanliness of dress are expected of every pupil.
- • Every pupil must possess and carry the school calendar daily.
- • English must be spoken within school premises.
- • Students are not allowed to visit the staffroom.
- • Lost and found items must be handed to the principal's office.
- • Fines may be imposed for irregularity, indiscipline, or damage to property.
- • Damage to school property must be compensated for.
- • The school is not responsible for loss of money, books, or clothes.
- • Students are expected to look after their belongings.
- • All pupils must take part in drills and games unless medically exempted.
- • Mobile phones are strictly forbidden. If found, they will be confiscated, and a ₹5000 penalty will be imposed.
Parent–Teacher Meet:
1. To build strong school-parent relationships, meetings are held to discuss student progress. Attendance by parents is mandatory.
Identity Card:
An identity card with a passport-size photo, address, and phone number will be issued. Students must carry it daily while at school.
School Uniform:
1. Students must wear the prescribed uniform at all school functions, classes, assemblies, and parent-teacher meetings. The prescribed uniforms are:
Summer (Classes VI–X)
- Boys: Blue trousers, light yellow check shirt, blue socks & black shoes, school necktie, belt.
- Girls: Blue skirt, light-yellow check shirt, white ribbon, white hair band, blue socks, black shoes, necktie, belt.
Winter
- Boys: Blue warm trousers, light-yellow check shirt, blue socks, black shoes, blue V-shaped pullover & blue blazer, school necktie, belt.
- Girls: Blue warm trousers, light-yellow check shirt, blue socks, black shoes, blue V-shaped pullover & blue blazer, school necktie, belt.
For P.T.
- Boys: Black trousers and white shirt, black shoes and socks, black necktie, black belt.
- Girls: Black trousers and white shirt, black shoes and socks, black necktie, black belt.
- •Students who are shabbily dressed may not be allowed to attend classes.
- • If a pupil is obliged to attend school without the paper uniform, he/she should get a satisfactory note of explanation from his/her parents, otherwise he/she may not be admitted to class.
- • Repeated violation of the rule of wearing of the uniform is sufficient reason to send a student home for that day.
