Admission Notice


ADMISSION TERM & CONDITION


ADMISSIONS:


In the new academic session the school will have classes from I to X. Admission will depend on the availability of seats in these.


1. Application forms are issued in January.


2. They should be submitted on time along with:

  • Two passport-size photographs of the student and the parents.

  • A photocopy of the birth certificate from the Bureau of Birth and Death or the Municipal Corporation.

  • A photocopy of Aadhaar card.

  • Medical certificate.

  • Progress-report card of the last class attended.

  • The original transfer certificate issued by the previous school.

3. Date of birth as on the transfer certificate shall not be changed.


ADMISSION TERMS & CONDITIONS


St. Francis Academy is a Christian Minority institution established and administered by the Capuchin Friars Minor Society. It was started in the year 2008. It is a co-educational institution.


1. Admission will be open for classes Nursery to VIII in ICSE Board. Cost of application form is Rs. 700/- (Non Refundable).


2. Availing Application Form and applying does not guarantee admission to St. Francis Academy.


3. Since the number of applicants is expected to exceed the available seats, parents are advised to apply to other schools too.


4. After the Application Form is submitted, parents are requested to come for interaction along with the candidate as per the time slot given. Failure to comply will disqualify the candidate from the admission process.


5. All the Original Documents/Certificates must be produced at the time of interaction/verification along with Xerox copies.


6. It is the responsibility of the parents to ensure that the Application Form is complete in all respects.


Incomplete/lack of documents or false information will result in rejection of the Application Form. If found later, even after admission, it may lead to cancellation of admission.


7. Two passport size photos of the candidate and two family photos (candidate with parents) must be submitted with the Application Form.


8. All documents submitted will become school property and will not be returned.


9. Selection will be done by a committee using a random method. No correspondence regarding selection will be entertained. Any kind of recommendation, donation, or influence will disqualify the application.


10. Selected candidates will be listed on the school notice board. Admission must be taken within the specified time, or the chance will be forfeited.


11. Preference will be given to the following categories (if they meet eligibility criteria):


a. All Christian candidates and children of St. Francis Academy staff will be given preference.


12. Xerox copies of the following documents must be produced at the time you are called for interaction:


  • Birth certificate from Church Register, Nagar Nigam/Block Office.

  • Any one for proof of residence:
    • Landline Telephone bill

    • Electricity Bill

    • Aadhaar Card of the candidate

  • School Identity Card if sibling is studying at St. Francis School, Motihari (own brothers/sisters only).

  • Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC).

  • Original Transfer Certificate.

  • Photocopy of the latest Marksheet.

  • Two photographs of the student with parents.

  • Two passport size photographs of the student.

  • Medical Certificate.

13. School Administration reserves the right to amend the admission process and schedule at any time.


General Information:


School Days:
Regular classes are held from Monday to Saturday. Holidays will be informed well in advance.


Transport:
The school provides bus service on specified routes (subject to seat availability, no guarantee for all).


Fees:
1. Fees must be paid in cash. Cheques are not accepted.
2. Pay at the school fee counter between 1st to 15th of every month.
3. If fees are revised due to unforeseen expenses, parents/guardians will be notified and required to pay the revised amount.
